DECORATIVE CENTER
HOUSTON ANNOUNCES FOUR HIGH PROFILE DESIGN PROFESSIONALS TO JOIN
DECORATIVE CENTER SERVICES, LP
HOUSTON, TX. (August, 2005) Decorative Center Services, LP, the
innovative program designed to bring consumers and
designers/architects together through a complimentary referral
service, announces the membership and availability of four of
Houston's well-known interior designers.
All members of ASID, these four designers have an established record
for excellence in design within the Houston area; Marsha Capen of
Interiors by Marsha, Andrea Garrity, Garrity Design Group, Cecilia
Pacheco, of Style USA Interior Design and Amilee Wendt, Wendt Design
Group, will now be available as part of the designer referral
program. Decorative Center Services, LP, was conceived by Charles S.
Cohen, owner of Decorative Center Houston as part of a consistent
and ongoing program to bring the products and services of Decorative
Center Houston (DCH) and local community members together.
In addition, a premier buying service is also available for
consumers seeking to purchase a limited number of items not
requiring in-depth consultation with an interior design
professional.
"Although DCH has been a premier resource for professional designers
within the Houston interior design world for many years, many
members of this community still haven't had the opportunity to
experience what it has to offer," says Cohen. "Decorative Center
Services not only opens the doors of the DCH to a new consumer, this
program makes it easier for consumers to utilize our vast
resources."
The service was created to bring the DCH showrooms more business,
while providing the Houston consumer with access and opportunity to
work with a professional interior designer or purchase items through
the DCS proprietary buying service. Decorative Center Services is
overseen by Amy Grau, marketing director of the DCH.
To support Decorative Center Services a detailed questionnaire was
created to match consumer needs with the appropriate design
professionals. Since all interior designers involved with this
service are prescreened to determine their design style, specialty
and experience, the matching process is simple and efficient.
Once a fit with a style and a designer has been established, the
customer will receive the names of three designers who are experts
within these fields. Through interviews with these selected
designers, the consumer then makes a choice as to which professional
best fits with his/her project. "It's an easy, private and
time-saving way to find the perfect designer. Decorative Center
Services allows a designer to reach new clients, at the same time
attracting more business to the showrooms," states Grau.
The largest facility of its kind in the region, DCH is considered
the leading resource for fine traditional and contemporary contract
and residential furniture, fabrics, architectural products, floor
coverings, wall coverings, lighting, kitchen and bath products and
accessories.
